Free COVID-19 support for our clients
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic the Government have made several announcements relating to the different support measures that have been made available to businesses during this crisis. We have been very busy helping our clients to access these schemes wherever possible.
However, we will not be charging our current clients for these additional services.
Typically, we have:
- assisted with employee furloughing claims through the Job Retention Scheme;
- helped with applications for the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, Small Business Rate Relief and the Bounce Back Loans Scheme;
- contacted HMRC on behalf of our clients to arrange VAT payment deferrals; and
- worked with HMRC to arrange 'time to pay' payment plans, not just for VAT but other taxes which are also due.
We are offering this free COVID-19 support service to all current clients of Wilkinson and Partners.
This is in contrast with some accountancy firms who are unable to provide such services because they have furloughed their own staff, or in some instances, they are charging their clients for such additional work. At Wilkinson and Partners our aim is to help our clients as much as possible during these challenging times, hence our decision not to charge for COVID-19 related work.
If you are a current client and have not yet tried to access some of the Government COVID-19 schemes, but would like our assistance in doing so, please contact us as soon as possible.
During these challenging times, it is in all our interests to work together. By not charging for these COVID-19 services we want to support our clients when they need it most, so that we can continue working together in the future.
